Refund policy

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

All sales of original artwork are final and non refundable.

Exceptions can be made for artwork that have sustained damage during transit or that have been lost whilst shipping to you.

Please read Damage/Loss section to follow our process in this situation.


DAMAGE

Return requests for items damaged in transit will only be considered within 7 days of receiving your parcel.

If you have received a parcel that has sustained damage during transit, photographs of the overall parcel, damage to the parcel and to any piece of art that has been damaged are required to begin the process of a refund. All original packaging must also be retained.

In the event that no photographs are provided of the damage, no refund will be given.

A full inspection will be carried out for any items returned to us and any refunds that proceed will be sent through the original payment method used.

If damage is found (to the item/s) that hasn’t been caused in the initial transit upon return, no refund will be given.

Inkandescent Arts does not cover the cost of return shipping. On acceptance of photographic evidence, it is highly recommended for the buyer to choose a postal service that includes insurance to cover the value of an artwork where the value is £100 or more in case of loss.


LOSS FOR UK DELIVERIES: 

Artwork that has not been delivered within the expected timeframe given at checkout are subject to a waiting period of 7 working days after the last due date in circumstances of loss. We are unable to make a claim for loss any earlier than this in accordance with the courier services used to deliver your order to you.

 

LOSS FOR INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES:

IN EUROPE

Artwork that has not been delivered within the expected timeframe given at checkout are subject to a waiting period of 20 working days after the last due date in circumstances of loss. We are unable to make a claim for loss any earlier than this in accordance with the courier services used to deliver your order to you.

REST OF THE WORLD

Artwork that has not been delivered within the expected timeframe given at checkout are subject to a waiting period of 25 working days after the last due date in circumstances of loss. We are unable to make a claim for loss any earlier than this in accordance with the courier services used to deliver your order to you.

 

Please quote your order number and the name used on the order in your correspondence to us in regards to loss of packages.
